Positive COVID-19 Case Update

One new COVID-19 case has been recorded in the Northern Territory in the past 24 hours and is under the care of NT Health at the Centre for National Resilience in Howard Springs.

The 26-year-old female, who arrived on the repatriation flight from Istanbul on 30 July 2021, has mild symptoms.

Since repatriation flights to the Northern Territory began on 23 October 2020:

  • 11,339 international arrivals have undertaken quarantine at the Howard Springs Centre for National Resilience.
  • A total of 137 positive COVID-19 cases have been reported from international repatriation.

The total number of cases diagnosed in the Northern Territory is 200. There are currently seven active cases in the Northern Territory.
