COVID-19 Update - Positive Case

One new COVID-19 case has been recorded in the Northern Territory in the past 24 hours and is under the care of NT Health at the Centre for National Resilience.

The 33-year-old male, who arrived on the repatriation flight from New Delhi on 6 July 2021, is asymptomatic.

Since repatriation flights to the Northern Territory began on 23 October 2020:

  • 9,396 international arrivals have undertaken quarantine at the Howard Springs Centre for National Resilience.
  • A total of 129 positive COVID-19 cases have been reported from international repatriation.

The total number of cases diagnosed in the Northern Territory is 191. There are currently 7 active cases in the Northern Territory.
