One new COVID-19 case has been recorded in the Northern Territory in the past 24 hours.

A 22-year-old female US Army member, who arrived in the NT on 8 July 2021 to conduct mandatory 14 day quarantine at Bladin Village, has tested positive for COVID-19.

She has mild symptoms and is under the care of NT Health at the NT Centre for National Resilience.

The total number of cases diagnosed in the Northern Territory is 190.There are currently 9 active cases in the Northern Territory.
