One new COVID-19 case has been recorded in the Northern Territory in the past 24 hours.

A 28-year-old female, who arrived from Timor-Leste on 16 June 2021 has tested positive for COVID-19.

She is asymptomatic and is under the care of NT Health at the NT Centre for National Resilience.

The total number of cases diagnosed in the Northern Territory is 178. All cases have been related to international or interstate travel, with no cases of community transmission.

There are currently three active cases in the Northern Territory.
