NT History Grants and Awards Register of Peers

Department of Territory Families, Housing and Communities

Library & Archives NT (LANT) is calling for expressions of interest from members of the community with expertise and extensive knowledge of Territory history to join a Register of Peers.

The Register of Peers is a body from which people are drawn to assess NT History Grant applications and judge the annual Chief Minister’s NT History Book Award and replaces the former NT History Grants Committee.

The new Register will come into effect in 2021-22.

The Register will consist of experts and practitioners in the field of Territory history, including historians, academics, authors and other industry professionals.

For further information on how to register please visit the LANT website at the following link.

Expressions of interest open on Tuesday 15 June and close on Sunday 4 July 2021.

Applicants must complete an application form outlining their qualifications, their relevant experience and provide a statement about why they would like to join the Register and what they would bring to the role.
