Grants available to support the arts sector

Department of Territory Families, Housing and Communities

The Arts Projects grant program aims to enhance the development of Northern Territory arts and culture by supporting the professional development of artists and arts organisations, expanding showcasing and promotion opportunities and increasing community access and participation in arts and culture.

Under the program:

  • Grants of up to $15,000 are available for emerging artists.
  • Grants of up to $20,000 are available for not-for-profit organisations for arts and skills development, presentation and promotion of new works.
  • Grants of up $15,000 are available for regional and remote artists and arts organisations for the creation of digital content and digital skills development.

To apply, go to grantsnt.nt.gov.au. Applications for both grant programs close 29 March 2021.

Other grants under the Northern Territory Arts and Culture Grants Program remain open for applications including Creative Fellowships, Arts Residencies and Skills Exchanges, and the Regional Museums Grant Support Program.
