NT WorkSafe has issued two new safety alerts after recent incidents in the cattle industry and the construction industry.
The first safety alert highlights the risk of serious or fatal injuries when working on or near unguarded machinery.
The alert has been issued after an incident in late December, when a Territory cattle station worker suffered fatal injuries after becoming entangled in the moving parts of a bore pump.
The second safety alert highlights the dangers of unauthorised people accessing residential construction sites.
The alert reminds people with management or control of residential construction sites of the requirement to secure these sites to prevent such unauthorised access.
