FIRE BAN ADVICE - SATURDAY 29 AUGUST 2020

The Chief Fire Control Officer, Bushfires NT and the Director, NT Fire and Rescue Service have declared a 24 HOUR FIRE BAN PERIOD for Saturday 29 August 2020 for the following areas.

DARWIN and ADELAIDE RIVER FIRE WEATHER FORECAST AREA.

The Fire Ban is declared for a 24 hour period commencing at 0000 hours on Saturday 29 August 2020.

No person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in the portion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban area.

This includes the DARWIN, ADELAIDE RIVER AND BATCHELOR EMERGENCY RESPONSE AREAS AND THE LITCHFIELD MUNICIPALITY and COOMALIE SHIRE.

The Fire Ban is valid from midnight to midnight.
