Issued at 16:00 hours CST on Sunday 14 July 2019.

The Chief Fire Control Officer, Bushfires NT and the Executive Director, NT Fire and Rescue Service have declared a 24 HOUR FIRE BAN PERIOD for Monday the 15 of July  2019 for the following areas.                 

DARWIN AND ADELAIDE RIVER FIRE WEATHER FORECAST AREAS

The Fire Ban is declared for a 24 hour period commencing at 0000 hours on Monday the 15 of July 2019. 

This includes the DARWIN, BATCHELOR, ADELAIDE RIVER EMERGENCY RESPONSE AREAS and the LITCHFIELD MUNICIPALITY and COOMALIE SHIRE.

No person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in the portion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas.

The Fire Ban is valid from midnight to midnight.
