Issued at 1600 hours CST on Saturday 13 July 2019.

The Executive Director, Bushfires NT and the Acting Executive Director, NT Fire and Rescue Service have declared a 24 HOUR FIRE BAN PERIOD for Sunday 14 July 2019 for the following areas.                      

DARWIN and ADELAIDE RIVER FIRE WEATHER FORECAST AREA.

This includes DARWIN, BATCHELOR and ADELAIDE RIVER EMERGENCY RESPONSE AREAS, the LITCHFIELD MUNICIPALITY and COOMALIE SHIRE.

 The Fire Ban is declared for a 24 hour period commencing at 0000 hours on Sunday 14 July 2019. 

No person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in the portion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas.

The Fire Ban is valid from midnight to midnight.
