As part of the Digital Territory Strategy, the Northern Territory Government is hosting this inaugural event to inspire and encourage women to consider a career in the digital sphere.
Inspiring Women into Technology will feature a range of speakers across technical fields, a panel discussion, augmented reality displays and interactive booths.
The featured keynote speakers are highly regarded leaders in their field and include:
- Dee Madigan – Creative Director, Campaign Edge and Gruen Transfer panellist
- Sam Floreani, Program Director from Code Like a Girl
- Dr Rebecca Murray, Director of Advanced Manufacturing Alliance showcasing 3D metal printing technology
- Grace Nolan, Security Engineer from Google; and
- Social Influencer and My Kitchen Rules semi-finalist, Betty Banks

A separate event, My Path to Tech, will be held from 9 am to midday
for senior school students to highlight the diverse career options
available through technology and aligns with the STEM
in the Territory Strategy 2018-2022.
