Northern Territory Major Events Company

Northern Territory Major Events Company staff are gearing up to host the most successful People’s Choice BASSINTHEGRASS Music Festival yet, with less than 24 hours to go until gates open to the sell-out event on Saturday, 18 May.

The popular music festival, which is in its 17th year, will be held at Mindil Beach and is set to attract 10,000 punters from all across the Northern Territory and Australia.

Boasting a jam-packed program from 11am right through to 11pm, this year’s event will see some of Australia and New Zealand’s biggest names in music take to the stage as well as local artists and the winners of Battle of the School Bands.

Aside from a brand new venue, this year’s event will also include two stages, more artists than ever before as well as numerous new attractions and services for festival goers.

Members of the public are reminded that tickets will not be available to purchase at the gate, with the event selling its final tickets on Thursday, 16 May.
