BUSHFIRES NT MESSAGE: WATCH and ACT

LOCATION: Finn Road, BERRY SPRINGS

ALERT LEVEL: Watch and Act - There is a heightened level of threat. Conditions are changing. Start taking action now to protect your family and your property.

FIRE TYPE: Bushfire.

INFORMATION CURRENT AS AT: 29/06/2024 11:40:00

STATUS: GOING - A fire which is spreading on one or more fronts. Effective containment strategies are not in place for the entire perimeter.

RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Smoke from this fire may affect visibility, Active fire may occur close to the roadside , Firefighting crews may be working close to the roadside.

WHAT TO DO: Enact your bushfire survival plan.

ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: The grass fire in the Finn Road, Berry Springs area has broken containment. Crews are now undertaking property protection in the Finn Road area. Residents in the area are requested to enact their bushfire survival plan and adhere to advice of fire crews.
