Quotes attributed to David Breadmore Incident Controller Bushfire NT:

“Recent fire behaviour analysis confirms that current and projected weather conditions including elevated temperatures, low relative humidity, and strong, gusty winds — will significantly increase forward rates of spread and fire intensity.”

“The safety of landholders, firefighting personnel, and the community remains our top priority. We urge all land managers, contractors, and stakeholders to remain vigilant and to prioritise non-fire-based risk mitigation strategies until fire weather conditions moderate.”
