Festival celebrates cultural diversity of the Top End
24 May 2024
A key festival in Darwin’s event calendar returns to the Darwin Waterfront tomorrow to celebrate the beauty of our diverse multicultural community.
The event, commencing at 4.30pm, celebrates all cultures, with more than 20 community groups coming together to showcase their food, culture and customs.
A collaboration between the Darwin Waterfront Corporation, Northern Territory Government, Multicultural Council of the Northern Territory and Darwin Community Arts, the Harmony Soiree is one of the longest running and beloved events at the Darwin Waterfront.
Each year the popular lantern parade and competition features stunning designs by Millner Primary School students, who dedicate time and creativity to building and designing many of the lanterns featured in the display.
The 2024 Harmony Soiree is on from 4.30pm – 9pm on Saturday 25 May. To find more information, please visit [http://www.waterfront.nt.gov.au]
