Quotes attributable to Department of People, Sport and Culture CEO, Samantha Livesley

“Veterans, including current and ex-serving defence members, as well as their families are an important part of our community in the Northern Territory.

“We know how much of a sacrifice they make to keep us safe and how much of a positive economic and social impact they make in the Territory.

“However, defence life can be challenging and it’s important that we step up and provide the support the veterans’ community deserves. We hope these grants go a small way to making life a bit easier and provide new opportunities for the community to come together and benefit from new services, activities and events.”
