BUSHFIRES NT MESSAGE: ADVICE
LOCATION: Tjoritja Complex, HUGH
ALERT LEVEL: Advice - The fire is currently active around Ellery Big Hole and north of Namatjira and Larapinta Drive.
Monitor the situation for changes.
FIRE TYPE: Bushfire.
INFORMATION CURRENT AS AT: 23/03/2023 11:30 hours.
STATUS: BEING CONTROLLED - Effective strategies are in operation or planned for the entire perimeter.
RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Smoke from this fire may affect visibility.
WHAT TO DO: Conditions may change, monitor conditions in your area. Stay informed until threat is reduced. Avoid the area.
ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: Fire continues to burn in inaccessible areas, BFNT and Parks and Wildlife are monitoring the fire and working on containment options.
Smoke will be visible from Larapinta Drive and Namatjira Drive for the next few days.
