LOCATION: Buchanan Highway, GREGORY

ALERT LEVEL: Advice - Decreasing Threat - There is a reduced level of threat. You can resume normal activities.

FIRE TYPE: Bushfire. INFORMATION CURRENT AS AT: 19/08/2023 10:00 hours.

STATUS: UNDER CONTROL - The fire is at a stage where firefighting resources are only required for patrol purposes and major re-ignition is unlikely.

RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Smoke from this fire may affect visibility. Firefighting crews may be working close to the roadside.

WHAT TO DO: Conditions may change, monitor conditions in your area.

ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: This fire is now contained however smoke may still impact the area. Firefighting crews are further consolidating containment lines and continuing to mop up.
