LOCATION: Maude Creek Station, LANSDOWNE

ALERT LEVEL: Advice - A fire has started in the area. Monitor the situation for changes.

FIRE TYPE: Bushfire.

INFORMATION CURRENT AS AT: 08/09/2022 09:47 hours

STATUS: BEING CONTROLLED - Effective strategies are in operation or planned for the entire perimeter.

RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Smoke from this fire may affect visibility, Active fire may occur close to the roadside.

WHAT TO DO: Conditions may change, monitor conditions in your area.

ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: This advice has been extended till 1000 hours Friday 9 September. The fire is now contained, firefighting crews are further consolidating containment lines and mopping up. Crews will monitor the area during the day, there is still lots of smoke in the area. Landholders are encouraged to call 000 if conditions change.
