Issued at 15:00 hours on Saturday the 18th of February 2023
The Chief Fire Control Officer, Bushfires NT and the Director, Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service have declared a 24 HOUR FIRE BAN PERIOD for Sunday the 19th February 2023 for the following areas.
LASSETER EAST and LASSETER WEST FIRE WEATHER FORECAST AREAS.
The Fire Ban is declared for a 24 hour period commencing at 0000 hours on Sunday 19 February 2023.
No person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in the portion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas.
This includes the YULARA EMERGENCY RESPONSE AREAS.
The Fire Ban is valid from midnight to midnight.
