Positive COVID-19 Case Update

One new COVID-19 case has been recorded in the Northern Territory in the past 24-hours.

A 30-year-old female who arrived on the repatriation flight from Islamabad, Pakistan on 25 September 2021 has tested positive for COVID-19.

She is asymptomatic and is under the care of NT Health at the NT Centre for National Resilience.

Since repatriation flights to the Northern Territory began on 23 October 2020:

16,449 international arrivals have undertaken quarantine at the Howard Springs Centre for National Resilience.A total of 195 positive COVID-19 cases have been reported from international repatriation.There are currently seven active cases in the Northern Territory, which are in care at the Centre for National Resilience, posing no threat to the community.
