Big Day Out in Harmony to return to Red Centre
Red Centre residents and visitors are in for a treat when the Big Day Out in Harmony (BDOIH) festival returns to Alice Springs on Saturday, 3 June 2023. A slew of Territory acts will be joined by an interstate performer from the famous Music in Exile not-for-profit record label, which showcases artist from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
BDOIH is run by Multicultural Services of Central Australia (MCSCA) in collaboration with Alice Springs Town Council, and is supported by Northern Territory Government through the Northern Territory Major Events Company Event Funding Program. The program supports a wide and varied range of community events that celebrate diversity and inclusivity.
Visitors to BDOIH will be able to enjoy foods from around the world, and cultural performances and ceremonies. There will also be the opportunity to participate in activities such as hand henna painting and trying on a turban and sari.
The free event will take place on the Alice Springs Town Council Lawn from 12pm to 4.30pm.
