ALERT LEVEL: Advice - An incident has started. There is no immediate danger. Stay up to date in case the situation changes.

INFORMATION CURRENT AS AT: 9:16 pm Saturday, 30 November 2024.

RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA:

Heavy rainfall.Possible flash flooding.Possible disruption to essential supplies like electricity, water, and gas.

WHAT TO DO:

Slow down and turn your headlights on.Secure loose outside objects.Stay informed by following SecureNT on Facebook or listen to ABC Local Radio.Monitor conditions via [http://www.bom.gov.au/nt/warnings].Avoid the area – do not enter flood waters.For emergency service in floods, storms or cyclones call 132 500.

ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:

A humid airmass is producing slow moving thunderstorms with heavy rainfall.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Pine Creek and Bulman.
