I have notified the Administrator that I will be recommending that a by-election for the seat of Blain be held on Saturday, April 12.

The Country Liberals are already delivering for Blain and Nathan Barrett is the candidate to continue that long relationship with the people of Palmerston.

He is passionate about giving local families the services they need and keeping the community safe.

He is a young family man who understands the issues that are important to people in the area and will have a strong voice in Government.

The Country Liberals have a proven track record of investment in Palmerston over the past 30 years and Nathan Barrett is the person to continue that good work.

Terry Mills, and before him Barry Coulter, have been strong local voices for Blain, delivering the vital health and transport infrastructure the area needs to grow.

The Giles Government looks forward to continuing to deliver for Blain through Nathan Barrett.

A vote for Nathan Barrett is a vote for a new hi-tech regional hospital, more childcare centres, better roads and fast-tracked land release to bring down the cost of living.

Nathan Barrett will be a welcome new additional to the Country Liberals’ Palmerston team which already includes local members Peter Chandler and Lia Finocchiaro.

Only the Country Liberals have a plan for building the Palmerston of tomorrow complete with the services and infrastructure this growing area needs.
