BUSHFIRES NT MESSAGE - FIRE BAN

The Chief Fire Control Officer, Bushfires NT and the Director, Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service have declared a 24 HOUR FIRE BAN PERIOD for Wednesday 17 August 2022 for the following areas.
DARWIN and ADELAIDE RIVER FIRE WEATHER FORECAST AREA.
The Fire Ban is declared for a 24 hour period commencing at 0000 hours on Wednesday 17 August 2022.
No person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in the portion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas.
This includes the DARWIN, ADELAIDE RIVER AND BATCHELOR EMERGENCY RESPONSE AREAS AND THE LITCHFIELD MUNICIPALITY and COOMALIE SHIRE.
The Fire Ban is valid from midnight to midnight.
