ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:

An outflow boundary from previous thunderstorm activity in Queensland has triggered new

thunderstorms about the Carpentaria that are likely to produce damaging wind gusts this afternoon.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations

which may be affected include Borroloola.

100 km/h wind gust was recorded at Centre Island at 12:14 pm.
