Win the ultimate pre-party gig to kick off BASSINTHEGRASS!
There’s less than a month to go before the Territory’s largest music festival BASSINTHEGRASS, and local music fans have the exciting opportunity to win an exclusive backyard gig by BASS performer MAY-A.
The BASS in Your Backyard competition will see one lucky ticketholder and 12 of their mates enjoy a private acoustic gig by MAY-A in their very own backyard on the eve of BASSINTHEGRASS. The prize will also include drinks, food and a DJ.
The Triple J Hottest 100 chart topper will help the winner get the party started on Friday, May 19, before she takes to the stage the next day to perform to a crowd of thousands at BASSINTHEGRASS, held at iconic Mindil Beach on May 20.
The music festival will feature some of Australia’s biggest names, with the likes of Amy Shark, Angus & Julia Stone, Baker Boy, Guy Sebastian, Peach PRC, and Tones and I on the line-up.
To be in with the chance to win this epic prize, you just need to have a ticket to BASS, reside in the NT and tag one or even all of your backyard crew on the BASS Instagram and/or Facebook posts.
If you don’t have a suitable space for this gig, Northern Territory Major Events Company (NTMEC) will find one for you.
The competition closes at 11.59pm on Monday, 15 May. To find out more, read the T&Cs or buy your BASS ticket, head to [http://www.bassinthegrass.com.au].
Final release tickets are on sale now for $140, plus booking fee.
Quotes from NTMEC CEO Suzana Bishop:
“BASSINTHEGRASS is the ultimate Darwin music festival and this competition is the perfect way to get the festivities going. We love delivering unique event experiences, and the opportunity to win a private gig from a BASS artist is as unique as it gets.
“The exclusive BASS in Your Backyard competition is just one of the many extraordinary extras you can win or purchase this year to take your festival experience to the next level. Another incredible extra for 2023 is the Side-of-Stage Experience, where fans can buy a ticket that allows them to watch their favourite act perform from the side of the stage.
“Don’t miss out, get your ticket to the Territory’s biggest music festival and enjoy some of Australia’s biggest acts at home in Darwin.
“As well as amazing experiences for fans, BASS also benefits the Territory in other ways. For example, independent research shows last year’s festival generated a total expenditure stimulus of $15.8 million, of which 70 per cent, or $11.1 million, was new money to the Territory.”
