LOCATION: Letchford Road, DARWIN RIVER

ALERT LEVEL: Planned Burn Advice - Firefighters are managing the burn but visibility may be affected.

FIRE TYPE: Planned burn.

INFORMATION CURRENT AS AT: 25/06/2024 15:30 hours

STATUS: PLANNED BURN - A planned burn is currently underway.

RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Smoke from this fire may affect visibility , Active fire may occur close to the roadside, Firefighting crews may be working close to the roadside .

ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: Custom Bushfires NT will be conducting a planned burn on vacant crown land. The operation will commence after 12:30 and be complete by 17:00 hours. It is expected that the fire will smoulder overnight.

IT IS EXPECTED THIS SITUATION MAY CONTINUE UNTIL: 30/06/2024 12:00 hours
