BUSHFIRES NT MESSAGE - FIRE BAN

Issued at 1800 hours CST on Saturday 1 February 2025

The Executive Director, Bushfires NT and the Director, NT Fire and Rescue Services have declared a 24-HOUR FIRE BAN PERIOD for Sunday 2 February 2025 for the following areas.

The Barkly North Fire Weather Forecast Districts.

This includes the Barkly Homstead, Elliot, Newcastle Waters, Muckatay, Nicholson, Creswell, Pamayu and Ranken.

The Fire Ban is declared for a 24-hour period commencing at 0000 hours on Sunday 2 February 2025

No person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in the portion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas.

The Fire Ban is valid from midnight to midnight.
