Arts NT Register of Peers opens for EOIs

Department of Territory Families, Housing and Communities

Arts NT is calling for expressions of interest to join the Arts NT Register of Peers as an Arts Peer.

Arts Peers assist the Northern Territory Government with arts funding decisions and policy development by providing expertise and specialist advice across art forms, regions, and community and cultural development areas.

Appointed Arts Peers are professional, practising artists and arts workers with expertise in at least one of the art forms that are funded through the Northern Territory Arts and Culture Grants Program.

Arts NT is strongly encouraging expressions of interest from:

  •   Aboriginal artists and arts workers
  •   young artists and arts workers (18-25 years)
  •   artists and arts workers with disability
  •   artists and arts workers based in remote communities.

The Terms of Reference and how to apply can be found here

Expressions of interest open today and close Sunday 1 August 2021.

Applicants must complete an application form outlining their qualifications, their relevant experience and provide a statement about why they would like to join the register and what they would bring to the role.

Arts Peers participating in a grant assessment panel or advisory group are paid sitting fees and travel expenses.
