Say farewell to 2020 with our biggest New Year’s Eve, ever!

The Northern Territory Government and Hot 100 present ‘Tones & I’ and ‘Sheppard’ for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve at the Darwin Waterfront.

The countdown is on for Darwin’s biggest New Year’s Eve event, and the Darwin Waterfront Corporation is excited to announce an internationally acclaimed line-up of Australian musical talent.

Supported by local artists, Paw Patrol, roving entertainment, food stalls, an outdoor bar and two fireworks spectaculars, it’s a New Year’s Eve event bigger than ever before!

Internationally acclaimed and ARIA award winning artist, Tones and I, will take to the stage from 8pm, performing her new release ‘Fly Away’ and entertaining guests of all ages with her well known hits ‘Dance Monkey’, that reached number one in over 30 countries, ‘Bad Child’ and ‘Never Seen the Rain’, to name a few.

Tones and I will take revellers into the 9pm fireworks display, and then it’s ‘Bombs Away’ as Brisbane’s globally successful pop sensation Sheppard kick on the festivities, performing their Aussie hits of ‘Geronimo’, ‘Coming Home’, ‘Let Me Down Easy’, and more.

Families are invited to come early to see Paw Patrol’s Chase and Marshall answer Mayor Goodway’s call for help to save the “Adventure Bay Talent Show”, enjoy roaming entertainment and a meet & greet with Chase and Marshall from 7pm.

Hosted by Hot100 FM’s Dannii and Brent, see local Darwin artist, Jordan Ravi of America’s Got Talent fame, and mass log drumming spectacular ‘Drumming Up a Storm’ also take to the stage to entertain the masses, before local DJ set will see out the year that has been 2020, leading into the finale midnight fireworks display that will welcome 2021.

Food stall holders will be present on the evening from 4-10pm, delivering delicious, quick and easy options for patrons. New Year’s Eve at the Darwin Waterfront will be Smoke Free and family friendly.

The event will be open for registration at a small cover charge fee, with registration essential for attendance at the event. Restaurants and Hotels at the Darwin Waterfront are taking bookings now.
