NT Health Statement on Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals - Code Yellow lifted

14 July 2025

The Code Yellow at Royal Darwin Hospital and Palmerston Regional Hospital has now been lifted.

The Code Yellow was issued in response to an increase in the number of patients requiring ongoing acute care. Due to a number of measures being implemented, demand pressures have eased and patient flow at the hospitals has improved.

We thank the community for their patience and kindness during these periods of high demand.
