“From the Top End to the Red Centre, the Territory offers an abundance of unique natural landscapes, attractions and experiences for today’s traveller to share with their followers. It’s great to see so many of our regional areas showcased to so many potential visitors in this year’s Top Ten.

“We want everyone in the world to see just how amazing the Territory is, and social media is helping us do that, building the NT’s reputation as an 'instagrammable' holiday destination that is Different in every sense.

“Social media platforms offer extensive scope for images of the Territory to reach a global audience, and people who would otherwise perhaps not be exposed to content from the NT.

“And you don’t have to be a professional Instagrammer or photographer to capture our beautiful regions, I encourage all Territorians to get out and show off your own backyard by posting a great Territory snap on Instagram with the hashtag #NTaustralia. Your shot might be number one in 2020!”
