FIRE TYPE: Bushfire. INFORMATION CURRENT AS AT: 19/10/2019 13:47 hours 

STATUS: Going  GOING - A fire which is spreading on one or more fronts. Effective containment strategies are not in place for the entire perimeter.

RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Smoke from this fire may affect visibility, Active fire may occur close to the roadside, Firefighting crews may be working close to the roadside   .

ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: There is a bushfire in the vicinity of the WA and NT Border. Active fire may occur along the Victoria Highway between the Keep River National Park Access Road and the Thompson Spring Road in WA. Parks and Wildlife crews are working to contain the fire along the Victoria Highway and the Keep River Access Road.
