24 HOUR FIRE BAN PERIOD for Monday 12 August 2019 Issued at 1600 hours CST on Sunday 11 August 2019.

The Chief Fire Control Officer, Bushfires NT and the Director, NT Fire and Rescue Service have declared a 24 HOUR FIRE BAN PERIOD for Monday 12 August 2019 for the following areas.

DARWIN AND ADELAIDE RIVER FIRE WEATHER FORECAST AREAS.

This includes DARWIN, BATCHELOR AND ADELAIDE RIVER EMERGENCY RESPONSE AREAS and the LITCHFIELD MUNICIPALITY and COOMALIE SHIRE.

The Fire Ban is declared for a 24 hour period commencing at 0000 hours on Monday 12 August 2019.

No person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in the portion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas.

The Fire Ban is valid from midnight to midnight.
