COVID-19 Update: Wastewater testing update

Wastewater testing in Nhulunbuy has been detected positive for COVID-19. This is a signal that COVID-19 could be present in the Nhulunbuy community.

It is important all Territorians and visitors, particularly those in the Nhulunbuy community, get tested for COVID-19 if showing any symptoms such as a cough, fever, shortness of breath, muscle aches, change in taste or smell, and a sore throat.

Any Nhulunbuy resident or visitor who has recently arrived from interstate or overseas is required to have a COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test [https://coronavirus.nt.gov.au/stay-safe/symptoms-testing/rat-testing] (RAT) within three days of arriving in the NT, and another test on day six.

You are not required to isolate after these tests. You will be required to take a photo of the test results, the packaging displaying the batch number, and a document identifying yourself. You must submit an approved online declaration [https://forms.nt.gov.au/Produce/Form/COVID19/Rapid%20antigen%20test%20declaration/] no later than day eight after arriving in the NT.

The Gove Pandemic Clinic is open today until 4:00pm and tomorrow from 10:00am to 4:30pm. Bookings are preferred, but walk-ins are accepted.
