Hop to the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens on Tuesday 16 April 2019 to escape the holiday boredom and try to catch a glimpse of the Easter bunny.
George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens Director, Bryan Harty said the Gardens are the perfect place to enjoy a family fun day out to celebrate school holidays with Easter themed activities including arts and crafts and biscuit decorating.
“The cool, shady lawns of the Gardens will come to life with waterslides, rock climbing, an animal petting zoo, ten pin bowling and much more” Mr Harty said.
“There will be face painting by Fairy Jill, music by DJ Kevin, animals from the Darwin Wildlife Sanctuary and the Easter bunny will also be making an appearance.
“There are no ATM facilities at the Gardens so remember to bring some cash as the much-loved train will be back, and don’t forget a change of clothes if you plan on enjoying the water slides.”
Food stalls will be on deck to cater for all hungry faces throughout the day of fun or bring along a picnic to enjoy under the trees.
Designed for families with children up to around 12 years old, the school holiday program will run from 10am to 1pm.
