AIME-ing for more business events to the NT

Tourism NT’s Northern Territory Convention Bureau (NTCB) and 15 industry partners from throughout the Northern Territory, are heading to Melbourne to exhibit at the 2019 Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) being held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 18 to 20 February 2019.

As the most significant international business events tradeshow in Australia, AIME is a valuable opportunity for industry partners to connect in person, develop strong and lasting relationships and showcase their products to business events decision makers from around the world.

This is the thirteenth year Tourism NT through the NTCB, has been involved with AIME, which is the largest international business events tradeshow in Australia uniting more than 4500 suppliers, meeting and event planners, and allowing for over 14,000 face-to-face meetings. AIME is an annual event held each February in Melbourne.

“The NT Government’s Turbocharging Tourism initiative has given Tourism NT through the Northern Territory Business Events Support Fund, an investment of $2.33 million to attract more national and international business events.

“To date, the fund has committed over $1.3million to assist in securing 34 business events, with the majority being staged in 2019.”
