The Darwin Waterfront Recreation Lagoon and beach area has reopened for swimming this afternoon.

Regular testing of the water quality has confirmed the water conditions have returned to a high standard. The break in the recent overcast conditions and rain activity is likely to have contributed to the improved conditions.

The Darwin Waterfront Corporation is committed to maintaining the highest environmental practices and will continue to monitor the water quality on a regular basis.
