The Department of Education has committed to supporting adult night classes in Darwin and a program will run in 2019.

An independent consultant has been engaged and will be reviewing the current business model and making recommendations on the best operating model to ensure that the classes are sustainable in 2019 and beyond. This review will include consultation with the community in collaboration with the Department of Trade, Business and Innovation to inform the model to maximise its value to Territorians.

As the Department of Education is now planning the program, there will be changed timelines to releasing the classes for Term 1, 2019.
