All youth detainees at the Police Watch House in Darwin have been returned to the Don Dale Youth Detention Centre.

The Don Dale Youth Detention Centre became operational yesterday afternoon following a full security assessment to make sure all safety measures were in place. The detainees were transferred to the Don Dale Youth Detention Centre last night. 

All building and accommodation areas at the centre are back on line with the exception of the education administration area.
