Office of the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption Update on Operation Jupiter

Given the continued leave of Commissioner Riches, Operation Jupiter has been briefed externally to a former Supreme Court Justice from another jurisdiction.

As the Acting ICAC, I have appointed that person as an authorised officer pursuant to section 131(1) of the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption Act 2017 (ICAC Act).

I have also delegated relevant powers and functions under the ICAC Act to that person, pursuant to section 125(1) of the ICAC Act.

No further comment will be made.
