Prehistoric creatures have arrived in the Northern Territory to meet boys and girls of all ages at their new home at the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens.
George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens Director, Bryan Harty, said the cool, shady Gardens provide the perfect place to keep these ancient creatures safe.
“Dinosaurs hold a special place in the hearts and minds of many. They create excitement, amusement and even frighten those who are lucky enough to see them,” Mr Harty said.
“The new additions were funded by Friends of The Darwin Botanic Gardens through a $10,000 community benefit grant and we hope they will offer another reason to visit our beautiful Gardens.”
Located in the Cycad Garden at the Geranium Street entrance, five new scaly, ancient creatures await your visit after being welcomed to their new home in a small ceremony this morning.
This new, FREE attraction will be on display for all from today between 7am and 7pm daily. No need to worry about these dinosaurs becoming extinct, they’re here permanently!
There’s no need to escape to the Hollywood big screens to see the creatures that once roamed this earth 65 million years ago, come and see them today!
