FIRE BAN ADVICE 

The Chief Fire Control Officer, Bushfires NT and the Acting Executive Director, NT Fire and Rescue Service have declared a 24 HOUR FIRE BAN PERIOD for Sunday 23 September 2018 for the following areas.               

DARWIN and ADELAIDE RIVER,  and GREGORY NORTH WEST.

This includes the following EMERGENCY RESPONSE AREAS: DARWIN, BATCHELOR, ADELAIDE RIVER and includes the LITCHFIELD MUNICIPALITY and the COOMALIE SHIRE.

The Fire Ban is declared for a 24 hour period commencing at 0000 hours on Sunday 23 September 2018. 

No person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in the portion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas.

The Fire Ban is valid from midnight to midnight.
