A delegation of government and industry representatives will depart for Indonesia and Vietnam today with Primary Industry and Resources Minister Ken Vowles.

The delegation includes three representatives from the Department of Primary Industry and Resources, and the visit will strengthen relationships with two of the largest importers of Territory cattle and buffalo.

The delegation leaves Darwin on 10 September and will return on 16 September.

The public servants from the Department of Primary Industry and Resources travelling with the Minister are:

• Chief Executive

• Executive Director Agriculture

• Manager Market Development.

Travel costs for the three public servants travelling to Indonesia and Vietnam are:

• Total for flights – $10,285

• Total for accommodation – $6,505.

Travel costs are based on the official itineraries received from the travel provider prior to departure and the known exchange rate at the time.
