The Darwin Waterfront will kick off an exciting 3 week program of free school holiday activities from Monday 2 July through to Friday 20 July.
Whether its creativity, sport or pure fun on the agenda we have a calendar full of enjoyment for the kids with something different each weekday from 10am to 12noon.
There will be plenty of active play with Come and Try Hockey or Aus Kick Australian Football clinics that include inflatable fields and targets, modified drills and mini games. The world cup fever also continues with a MiniRoos soccer workshop on the lawns.
Kids will be creatively engaged with a Brick, Build and Play activity where they can rummage and build a masterpiece through mountains of brick LEGO, and The Burning Circus return to entertain and share some tricks with juggling balls, hula hoops, balancing sticks, clubs and more.
Each daily event is aimed to suit primary ages between 5 to 12 years, although younger and older are always welcome and no bookings are required.
Darwin Waterfront Annual Members will not only enjoy the free activities but also take advantage of 3 free hours in the car park per day, unlimited Wave Lagoon entry, free locker use, 30% off the inflatable water park, a minimum of 10% off at over 30 businesses until 6pm and more.
Starting at $50 for adults and $125 for a family this is a great option for those eager to enjoy Waterfront experiences, restaurants, cafes and facilities and discounts all year round.
Weekend fun also continues at Darwin Waterfront with a line-up of free events including the inaugural free Territory Day Fireworks and entertainment on the lawns from 5pm to 8pm on 1 July.
The monthly movie is a treat for a ‘kids night out’ on Saturday 7 July, screening the popular animated Disney adventure film Moana (PG) from 7pm on the lawns.
