Congratulations to the nominees and finalists in the 2018 Northern Territory Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards.

The awards recognise the outstanding efforts of nurses and midwives, and the great work they do in our community.

Ms Sue Korner, Chief Operating Officer, Central Australia Health Service and Ms Melissa Brown, Executive Director Nursing and Midwifery Services Alice Springs Hospital announced the finalists last night in Alice Springs.

“I’d like to congratulate all those people who have been nominated, it is really great to celebrate the contribution that nurses and midwives make across the Territory,” Professor Catherine Stoddart, Chief Executive Officer, Department of Health said.

The recipients of the 11 award categories will be announced at the Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards Gala Dinner on Saturday 12 May 2018.
