The BreastScreenNT mobile
bus will be offering FREE breast screening for women aged 50 to 74 years on the
grounds of Parliament House this week.
‘This is the third year of providing a mobile BreastScreenNT Clinic on the grounds of Parliament,’ said Toni Thomson, Acting-Manager of Cancer Screening Services.
To make an appointment, contact BreastScreenNT 13 20 50. Appointments take 30 minutes.
BreastScreenNT screened more than 6220 women across the Territory in 2017 and aims to continue growing this lifesaving service.
This year, BreastScreenNT will continue to provide FREE mammograms at its permanent clinics in Casuarina and Palmerston, with two five-week blocks in Alice Springs.
The big pink BreastScreenNT bus is heading south mid-year to provide screening in Central Australia. BreastScreenNT would like to thank all the communities that support our remote screening schedule.
