Tender to support development of an Aboriginal Contracting Framework

Department of Trade, Business and Innovation

The Department of Trade, Business and Innovation has released a tender for an expert consultant to support stakeholder engagement in the development of an Aboriginal Contracting Framework.

Deputy Chief Executive Sibylle Brautigam said the department would be consulting widely on the project and would gather as many insights and ideas from stakeholders as possible.

“The first phase will be to hear stakeholder thoughts on what the possible approaches and actions could be, and the second phase will be to refine these ideas into options for government’s consideration,” she said.

“The consultant will work as part of a dedicated project team, engaging with stakeholders to develop this important piece of policy,” Ms Brautigam said.

The project will work with Business, Industry, Aboriginal and Not-for Profit Organisation representative groups as well as Government Agencies.

The tender opens on Tuesday 6 February and closes at 2:00pm on Tuesday 20 February 2018. The tender will be published here - https://tendersonline.nt.gov.au/Tender/List/#!/Current
