Three Northern Territory Government representatives will travel to China this week with Primary Industry and Resources Minister Ken Vowles.
While in China the Minister will meet with government officials, and trade and investment partners to:
develop relationships between the Minister and strategic partner organisations in China
promote the Northern Territory’s ongoing willingness to be a trusted, long-term and stable supplier of commodities to China
observe current and emerging market opportunities in the primary industry and resources sectors.
The delegation will leave Darwin on Friday 23 June and return on Friday 30 June.
The public servants travelling with the Minister are:
Chief Executive, Department of Primary Industry and Resources
Director Major Agribusiness Projects, Department of Primary Industry and Resources
Senior Investment Officer, Department of Trade, Business and Innovation
Travel costs for the three public servants travelling to China:

Total for accommodation – $4508.20
